Specialty Academy is a proud affiliate of Borboleta Pro, a globally recognized leader in professional beauty education. We offer advanced, hands-on training for licensed and aspiring professionals in cosmetology, esthetics, and barbering, specializing in brow lamination, lash lift, and lash extension certifications.
Whether you are currently enrolled in beauty school, preparing for your state board exam, or returning to the industry after time away, our certification programs are designed to help you build confidence, master in-demand services, and create a successful career as a brow or lash artist.
Located in North Modesto, Specialty Academy serves students across the Central Valley and beyond. Our academy is easily accessible from the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Fresno. Each class is taught in a salon-style classroom equipped with professional tools, modern equipment, and Borboleta Pro products—providing a real-world learning experience.
In addition to hosting in-person classes at our Modesto location, Specialty Academy partners with beauty colleges throughout California to offer private and on-site education. We are proud to be a resident training partner with Aveda Institutes in San Francisco and San Jose.

Brow Lamination Certification
Master the art of brow lamination in this comprehensive two-day training course, which includes a kit to get you started. With hands-on experience through a live demo and a dedicated model day, you will learn essential techniques such as brow mapping, tinting, styling, and aftercare to ensure your clients leave with stunning results. This two day course will equip you with the skills to perform a brow lamination, brow waxing and brow tinting. Tuition $950. Kit included in price.

This class will cover classic application, fanning, hybrid and volume lashing methods and application. Couse is two weekends in a row. Tuition $1550. Kit included in price.
